Two local charities receive donation from festive events

Proceeds from the annual bucket collection at The Octagon Theatre’s festive pantomime have been given to two charities.

The Foyer Club and Yeovil District Hospital’s Breast Cancer Unit Appeal received over £10,000.

Ticket income and bucket collection monies from the Christmas Carol Concert was added to the total as well.

Arts & Entertainment Venues Manager, Adam Burgan, and Marketing Manager, Martin Hacker said:

WWe are very grateful to our pantomime and Christmas Carol Concert patrons who gave so generously over the festive period to support these fantastic charities."
