Two in hospital after Glastonbury road traffic collision

Police are appealing for witnesses

Two people are in hospital after a road traffic collision in Glastonbury yesterday evening. The collision, which involved two cars, happened on the Tin Bridge roundabout at about 7.50pm yesterday.

On arrival at the scene, the fire service confirmed that both vehicles each had a person trapped inside. Crews released them both using hydraulic and spreading equipment.

The driver of one of the vehicles, a man in his thirties, was taken to hospital by air ambulance with serious injuries. The second vehicle's driver, a man in his twenties, was also injured and taken to hospital for treatment.
