Taunton's Rainbow Path: police investigate after being painted over

The path was covered in white paint - and reported to the police earlier this morning

Police are investigating as the rainbow path in Goodland Gardens has been vandalised with white paint.

Taunton Town Council say they're 'very disappointed' - and is urging anyone with information to contact the police.

On X, the Town Council said: "We were very disappointed this morning to see that the Rainbow path in Goodland Gardens has suffered vandalism.

"If you have any information related to this offence, please report to Avon and Somerset police using this crime reference number AS-20240110-0213."

Avon and Somerset Police told us: "We were called shortly before 9:15am this morning (10 January) to a report that the rainbow path in Goodland Gardens had been painted over.

"Officers attended and are conducting enquiries. Taunton Town Council has also been made aware.

"If you have any information which could help our investigation, please call 101 quoting reference 5224007874."
