Taunton Big Sleep Out to raise awareness of homelessness
It's taking place tonight.
Participants of all ages will once again sleep under the stars to raise crucial funds for Arc.
The Big Sleep Out 2025 will take place in the car park behind 7 The Crescent, marking the 11th year of this incredible event in Taunton.
Last year’s event was a huge success, raising around £6,000 to support homeless individuals in the community.
Since its inception, the Big Sleep Out has raised over £66,000 and helped house more than 1,550 homeless individuals, making it Arc’s biggest annual fundraising event.
Every penny raised through sponsorship enables Arc to continue providing essential services and support to those experiencing homelessness in Somerset.
The event challenges participants to sleep outside for one night, offering a unique and eye-opening experience while also being an enjoyable and rewarding evening.
This year’s event will feature live music and entertainment from local artists, hot food, inspiring talks, workshops, and children’s activities.
Every participant will receive cardboard for sleeping, a cooked breakfast, and a goodie bag as a thank-you for their support.
