Taunton barn fire now 'under control'

A large barn fire in Creech St Michael, Taunton is now under control.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue initially responded to a call last night (Friday, February 19)
The building contained 300 tonnes of hay and farm equipment has been completely destroyed.
Six crews from across the two counties used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one covering jet, one CAFS branch and a thermal imaging camera.
At the time of writing, only one crew remain on the scene for monitoring.
