The A378 in Langport is going to be shut on Friday morning after a car crashed into a pub.

Earlier this month the Langport Arms said thankfully no one was injured in the incident - but the front entrance was blocked and the balcony was structurally damaged.

The site's now going to be cleared and made safe.

On Facebook earlier this month, the Langport Arms Hotel said: "A car was involved and thankfully no one has been seriously injured!

"However the front entrance to our hotel is blocked and the balcony has been structurally damaged.

"Emergency services were called immediately and first aid was offered onsite immediately.

"We are thankful and very much grateful to our employees who acted so promptly during this shocking and trying time."

You can find out more about the diversions will be in place on the Travel Somerset website.
