A woman from Somerset has been given a one-year ban from driving after being caught under the influence in South Wiltshire.

Elizabeth Key, 42, of Bath Road, Oakhill in Somerset was stopped by officers on the A36 at Wylye on April 17th last year.

She admitted to the roads policing officer who stopped her to using cocaine in the days beforehand, with a road side drug wipe returning a positive test for the substance.

Key was subsequently arrested.

She appeared at Salisbury Magistrates Court on 27th February and was handed a 12-month driving ban and ordered to over £500 in costs.
