Investigation launched after armed robbery in Yeovil
Police are investigating after the suspects made off with a quantity of cash
An armed robbery at a shop in Yeovil where the thieves made off with a quantity of cash has prompted an investigation.
Officers were called yesterday morning just before 8am to a store in Wessex Road.
It's understood the suspects left in the direction of Greenwood Road.
Officers will carry out reassurance patrols in the area and continue house to house enquiries.
Anyone with CCTV in the area or further information is being urged to contact police.
