Motorcyclist dies in A4 Keynsham crash

A lorry and a bike collided during the morning rush hour.

A man has died following a serious collision on the A4 Bath Road in Keynsham on Monday morning.

Police say a lorry and a motorcycle collided between the Hicks Gate and Broadmead roundabouts just before 8:30am.

The motorcyclist died at the scene.

Police say the man who died was 33 years old, and his family are being supported by specially trained officers.

The road was closed in both directions between the two roundabouts to allow collision investigators to examine the area but has since reopened.
