Serious collision between car and lorry on A303
The trunk road into Devon was shut off by Avon and Somerset Police last night

Police shut off a major south west trunk road last night after a serious collision between a car and a lorry.
It happened between the A37 and the A3088 Cartgate Roundabout in Ilchester, with Avon and Somerset Police officers being called out to attend.
The road was shut off at around 7pm last night (20 May), with police expecting it to be closed for 'several hours' for their recovery operation.
A number of emergency services were called to the scene, with police, fire and ambulance crews in attendance.
In a statement on social media, a spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "The A303 is closed in Somerset between the Cartgate & Podimore roundabouts following a collision involving a car & a lorry.
"It happened at just before 7pm today, Sat 20 May. Police, fire & ambulance crews are at the scene & motorists are urged to seek alternative routes."
