The new boss of Taunton Town FC - Richard Luffman - has called this weekend a 'crazy 48 hours'.
He's the Peacocks new manager - and says he's looking forward to leading the club into the next season - having just been relegated.
He previously led Cribbs FC - where he secured the club to their highest ever position in the football pyramid.
Announcing the announcement of their new manager on Saturday, Taunton Town FC said: "Taunton Town Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Richard Luffman as the club’s new manager.
"Richard brings a wealth of experience and success to the team, having previously led Southern League Division One South side, Cribbs F.C, to incredible achievements. During his tenure at Cribbs F.C, Richard steered the team to unprecedented heights, securing their highest-ever position in the football pyramid. His remarkable managerial skills translated into an impressive record of 76 victories out of 114 league games managed.
"Richard’s spell at Cribbs F.C was marked by extraordinary accomplishments, including clinching the uhlsport Hellenic League Cup in the 2021/2022 season and capturing the Hellenic League title in 2022/2023."
Richard said: “I am absolutely delighted to be appointed at a massive football club, a huge thanks to the Board who have put their trust in me. I’m looking forward to the challenge and to meet the Taunton fan base. Buckle up, it’s going to be some ride!”
