Across Somerset, celebrations are getting underway to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee
The Royal Bath and West Show also returns today, and will be lighting a special beacon - alongside other parts of the UK and Commonwealth.
In Chard there will be a children's torch lit parade up to the site at Crowshute Link for tonight's beacon lighting
Before that town criers from across the country will be officially marking the start of the four-day celebration
The three-day Bath & West Show also returns today for the first time since before the pandemic.
