Motorbike rider suffers 'potentially life-changing injuries' after serious crash in Yeovil

A motorbike rider is still in hospital with potentially life-changing injuries after a serious crash in Yeovil.

It happened at around 21:50 on the 5th of July, on the junction of Preston Road and Westfield Road.

Officers were called to the incident, which involved a car and a motorbike.

The motorcyclist, in his 30s, was taken to hospital with serious leg, head and arm injuries.

Officers are appealing for anyone who saw what happened or has dashcam footage to come forward following the incident, which involved a grey Volkswagen Polo and green and black Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle.
