Motorbike rider dies in crash near Street

A motorcyclist in his 60s has died in a single vehicle crash in Walton near Street.
Police were called to the scene just after 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon - where he died at the scene.
Officers from Avon and Somerset Police say they are keen to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, or anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage.
In a statement, the force say: "Officers were called to Cockrod, in Walton near Street, at around 2.20pm yesterday (Wednesday 10 May following a single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.
"The next of kin has been informed and our thoughts are with the family during this difficult time.
"They are being offered support by a specially-trained, family liaison officer."
