Man saved after falling into water in Bridgwater

A man has been saved after falling into water in Bridgwater.

Firefighters were called to the town last night.

Crews confirmed that he was rescued by members of the public - and helped paramedics with providing first aid.

In a statement, the ambulance service said: "We were called at 22:06hrs on Tuesday 04 March to an incident in Bridgwater. We sent one double-crewed land ambulance, and an operations officer to the scene. We conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Musgrove Park Hospital.”
