Man in hospital after car crashes into house in Somerset

Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses after a car crashed into a house in Williton.

Officers attended the scene yesterday afternoon (9 July) - they had to partially block the road whilst the vehicle was recovered.

The driver has been taken to hospital, though his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life changing.

In a statement, the force said: "We were called to High Street, in Williton, at around 1pm today (Tuesday 9 July) following reports of a collision.

"Officers attended the scene to find a car had collided with a house. The driver has been taken to hospital, his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life changing.
