Man charged in connection with Worle stabbing

A man has been remanded in custody after a stabbing in Worle High Street on Tuesday (May 30).

6\7 year old Andrew Critchley from Hutton is charged with attempted murder and possessing a knife in public and will appear in Crown Court next month following his appearance today (June 1) at North Somerset Magistrates' Court.

A man in his fifties was airlifted to hospital during the incident.

Critchley will next appear at Bristol Crown Court on Monday 3 July.

Avon and Somerset Police's investigation into what happened continues.
