M5 closed northbound in Somerset following large diesel spillage

The M5 in Somerset has been shut northbound due to a large diesel spillage as teams are on the scene to clear it up.
Road closures are in place between J24 and J23 near Bridgwater.
It's unclear when it'll reopen.
According to National Highways, the diesel spillage came from a heavy goods vehicle's fuel tank and spread for approximately half a mile down the carriageway.
Emergency services are on the scene also.
Drivers are advised to follow the solid triangle diversion symbol on road signs.
Diversion route:
- Leave the M5 northbound at J24 and take the 1st exit at the roundabout onto the A38.
- Follow the A38 through Bridgewater to the roundabout with the A39 and take the 3rd exit onto the A39.
- Continue on the A39 to the M5 J23 roundabout and take the 1st exit to rejoin the M5 northbound.
