'See you all down the road': Independent Westcountry festival to end
The organisers of Farmfest in Bruton have shared an update on the future of the festival - and say 'it has been a tough few years'

1\5 years since the first Farmfest, it seems like their 2021 edition was well and truly their last, after cancelling last year's event at short notice because of concerns over the rising cost of living.
In a statement shared on their Facebook page over the weekend, organisers say the past few years have put a huge strain on the festival, with the 'huge rise' in running costs forcing them to finally put and end to the event.
Those with tickets have been eagerly awaiting for an update on the 2023 edition, but instead of a map or line-up, organisers have left ticket-holders with just a 'parting gift.'
They've teamed up with those at Bristol's Valley Fest, so those with tickets don't miss out on the festivities that a festival can bring. You can also donate the value of your ticket to Wateraid, or ask for a full refund.
In their statement, organisers said: "It is a fine line we have struggled to tread and sadly the result is we must bring Farmfest to a close.
"We want to send our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported Farmfest over the 15 years since it started. We're gutted this marks the end, but we still have all the fantastic memories of partying on the farm together.
