A broadband provider has been fined thousands of pounds after pleading guilty to two offences in Bridgwater - which magistrates said posed a danger to pedestrians.

Nextfibre Networks failed to install proper traffic management while working in two of the town's streets back in September last year.

They also pleaded guilty to nine smaller charges in Devon. The company had to pay a total of £30,000.
