Fire crews in attendance at large blaze just off J23 on M25

A large fire is currently raging in Somerset, which can be seen by motorists on the M5, near Junction 23 near Bridgwater.

Multiple 999 calls were received by Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue this morning, with distressed residents and passers-by reporting the blaze.

Devon and Somerset Fire service have announced emergency service crews were sent to the scene, including one water bowser, one wildfire pump and three additional fire pumping appliances

Crews were sent from Bridgwater, Burnham-on-Sea and Street and Cheddar are now tackling the inferno
