The families of the Nottingham Attacks are hoping that one day a permanent memorial will be erected in the city, but they say they want it to hold a legacy.

It's been over two years since Barnaby Webber, Grace O'Malley Kumar and Ian Coates were all killed by Valdo Calocane.

There's been calls for a permanent memorial in the city to remember the three victims.

Barnaby's mum, Emma, said: "We need to talk collectively about what's appropriate, I have no idea.

"I know I don't want it to be a bench or a tree, nothing cliché.

"I think it's such a great city and community, we'd like it to be a legacy or something that reflects all three of them."

Dr Sanjoy Kumar echoed Emma's thoughts "There should be a fitting memorial, because this tragedy will change things and I think it will changes things nationally."
