Environment Agency moving pumps in case of flooding on the Levels

The Environment Agency has moved temporary pumps to parts of the Somerset Levels. It's after the Met office issued a yellow weather warning for rain from 6am today until 6am tomorrow morning.

A spokesperson for the Environment Agency South West said: "We are moving our temporary pumps to Currymoor, ready to pump water off the moors when needed over the Christmas period & when levels in the River Tone allow."
