Drivers are being urged to be careful this morning, after some cars got stuck overnight in floodwater - which is likely to still be in place during this morning's rush hour.

The latest Greatest Hits Radio traffic and travel can be found here which shows there's still a number of incidents in force

Overnight Devon and Somerset fire had more than 100 flooding-related calls and have urged drivers to be sensible.

The service took to social media following the rise in calls, saying: "We need to keep our emergency lines open for genuine emergencies so please only call us if there is a life risk."

South Western Railway says the band of heavy rain has resulted in flooding between Exeter St Davids and Salisbury - with services including at Yeovil Junction - being delayed or changed.

There was some flooding in Chard, Taunton and Ilminster as well as parts of the South Hams.

Following a pitch inspection this morning, this afternoon's racing at Newton Abbot will be going ahead.
