Disruption to travel and school closures in Somerset
It's after heavy rainfall yesterday
There's multiple roads closed in Somerset this morning (05/12) after heavy rainfall on Monday.
Major routes in Somerset, including the A303 which been shut in stretches, and the Langport Road flood gate has been closed.
Whilst the Met Office is expecting less rain to fall today, the Environment Agency warn yesterdays rain could still cause flooding in parts.
Disruption to schools
Some schools have announced they'll either be opening later, or not at all today, with flood waters making it difficult to access some sites.
St Dunstan's School to open to pupils at 9.30 am
Westfield Academy to open at 10 am
Mere Village Primary to be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday
South Somerset Partnership School closed on Tuesday
Clithorne Domer Church School is closed
Sedgemoor Manor School is closed after sewage problems resulted in a lack of working toilets or handwashing facilities
Road closures
Tylers Lane - Fitzhead a landslip's been reported meaning the road is closed. Travel Somerset are asking people to not ignore closure signs

We're also told the Muchelney to Langport emergency road closure gate is closed.
