Appeal for information after man seriously injured in Bridgwater pub
Man hospitalised following altercation on High Street
A man in his mid-twenties is recovering after suffering serious injuries in an altercation at a pub in Bridgwater.
The incident occurred on High Street at around 11.55pm on Friday 12th December.
The victim was taken to hospital with a laceration to his ear requiring treatment.
A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault by beating and assault causing grievous bodily harm but has been released on bail while investigations continue.

CCTV enquiries have been conducted and officers are asking anybody who was in the pub at that time to come forward with details.
The suspect has been described as a white man with dark hair and short facial hair. He was wearing a black hooded top, black jogging bottoms, and black footwear at the time.
