Body found in search for missing Yeovil man
50-year-old Anthony hadn't been seen for more than two weeks
A body has been found in the search for a man who had been missing from Yeovil for more than two weeks.
The 50-year-old, called Anthony, was last seen in the town on Sunday 9 October.
The discovery of a body was made in water in Ninesprings Country Park on Monday morning (October 24).
Avon and Somerset Police say it has not been formally identified yet but they believe it is Anthony and his family have been told.
Currently his death is being treated as "unexplained", but officers add they do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
In a statement the police say they will carry out further enquires on behalf of the coroner.
