Body found in search for missing Glastonbury woman
Avon and Somerset Police say their thoughts are with her family
A body has been found in the search for a Somerset woman who has been missing for nearly six months.
Referred to only as Carol, the 51-year-old from Glastonbury had not been since since Wednesday 24 January in the town.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police says they have found human remains near to Glastonbury.
"While formal identification is yet to take place, the family of Carol have been updated," they said.
"Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time."
