Just a fortnight after a local business' mobile trailer was broken in to, the person who runs it has confirmed she's going to 'come back stronger' - and will finally reopen next Tuesday (8 April).

Bakes by Becca has been able to do it thanks to the 'overwhelming' support from the local community.

A GoFundMe page was set up in the aftermath of the incident, which saw her business being stolen from - with Bakes by Becca losing stock, and left with a broken door.

'I'm determined to come back stronger'

Posting an update on Facebook, Becca said: "Good news! After a long tiring week or so of organising, cleaning, repairing and replenishing stock after the break in, I’m happy to announce that I will be reopening the trailer, next Tuesday!

"I will be at Taunton Town football ground for their next home match, and I’m genuinely so excited to be back serving.

"None of this would be possible without the love and support I’ve received from the local community and raising a crazy amount of money on my GoFundMe so thank you thank you, truly!

"Another big shoutout to Lee from Countywide Locksmiths for helping with the major repairs to the trailer!

"I’m a little anxious about being back in the trailer as my love for it has been a little bit tainted by the negativity left from the break in!

"But as I’ve said before, this little hurdle won’t stop me and I’m determined to come back stronger, starting on Tuesday!"
