Two people in hospital following A303 crash
The A303 reopened at about 2pm today, Friday 14 January, following a two-car collision on the A303 between Cartgate and Podimore.
Emergency services were called at 5am on Friday 14 January after other motorists came across two stationary vehicles. One occupant from each car has gone to hospital. One of them has injuries initially described as potentially life-threatening, pending assessment at hospital.
The road was closed for investigation into the collision and pending recovery of the vehicles and any repairs to the street furniture. Trapped traffic was been released.
