A group of youths have been reportedly seen throwing items off a bridge across the A303 in Amesbury.

It's believed the objects were coming from Porton Road bridge at around 3:30pm on Saturday (20th March).

As you travel east from the Countess Roundabout towards the Amesbury bypass, it is the first over pass you come to.

Police are now hoping the public can help with their investigations.

DID YOU SEE THE INCIDENT TAKE PLACE?

Wiltshire Police are asking for dashcam footage from the area at that time and whether people had their vehicles damaged.

PC Sharon Duggan said:

"We take offences of this nature extremely seriously. Clearly any objects thrown at moving vehicles could put the occupants lives at risk. It is a matter of luck that someone has not be seriously hurt. This is completely unacceptable behaviour. Anyone found committing such acts can expect to be dealt with robustly."

If you anyone can help police, they are being asked to call 101 quoting log number 54210026511.
