Two youths have been arrested by police in Salisbury following reports of young people throwing eggs in the city centre.
At around 5.00pm on Tuesday (19th July), an incident took place in Queen Elizabeth Gardens, at the entrance to the Town Path.
One person who challenged the group involved was assaulted and had his headphones stolen.
There have been anecdotal reports of further incidents involving egging over recent days in the city centre too.
The two youths arrested have been released on bail, banned from entering Salisbury city centre or Harnham, and told they can't be in groups of more than two people.
Wiltshire Police say they'll also be stepping up patrols in Queen Elizabeth Gardens, the city centre and Harnham over the school summer holidays.
We're asked to keep reporting any similar incidents to police on 101, or 999 if a crime is in progress.
