Young girl victim of altercation in Salisbury park

Police want to hear from good Samaritan who stopped to help

A child had been involved in an altercation in Salisbury's Queen Elizabeth Gardens.

Wiltshire Police say the victim was a 'young girl' with the incident happening around 3pm on Saturday 12th March.

Officers say man stopped to help the young victim and they'd like to hear from him.

It's thought a number of people may have witnessed the incident too with the force appealing for people to get in touch particularly if they have footage;

"We are aware that there were a number of people who may have been in the area at the time who may have recorded footage of the incident - we are appealing to them to contact us and pass on any recordings.
