Yellow weather warning for wind issued for South Wiltshire and West Hampshire

A Yellow weather warning has been issued for South Wiltshire and West Hampshire for tomorrow (Tuesday 7th December) .

Strong winds are expected to affect the region, as well as much of the UK.

The Met Office are warning there could be potential travel disruption in places.

The warning is in place from 9am until 23:29pm.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely

• Probably some bus and train services affected, with some journeys taking longer

• Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely

• Some short term loss of power and other services is possible
