The Salisbury branch of the environmental movement were out on the verges along the road near Stonehenge as part of a day of action.

On Friday (28th August), members from Extinction Rebellion were out all over the country with banners, signs and placards informing motorists about climate change, trying to draw attention to the links fossil fuels have to that.

XR Salisbury - who were out on the A303 with XR Bruton - say around 5,000 cars saw their messages on Friday.

They are also projecting a message onto Wiltshire College Salisbury on Southampton Road each evening over the Bank Holiday weekend.
