Woman reported to court after car crashes into Ludgershall play park

A vehicle struck the fencing at Tidworth Road, but left the scene

A female driver's been reported to court, after a car crashed into the fencing of a Ludgershall play park.

Extensive damage was caused at the Tidworth Road park at around 1.15am on Sunday morning (February 25th).

Police later found a vehicle parked at an address nearby with damage to it.

A woman in her 30s has been reported to court in connection with the incident.

The vehicle was also seized as it was found to have no insurance.

PC Nicholas Gray from Amesbury Police said:

“If you are involved in a road traffic collision, you must report it to us as soon as possible and within 24 hrs. It is also the responsibility of the driver to ensure that they have insurance for the vehicle.”
