Woman punched in face after man demands £3,000 from her in Larkhill

Luckily the victim wasn't badly hurt

Wiltshire Police are investigating an assault on a woman in Larkhill on Saturday night (24th April).

It happened just off Lawson Road between 7.15 pm to 730 pm.

The force say a man reportedly demanded £3,000 from a woman before punching her to the face twice.

The suspect then fled the scene empty handed and is believed to have driven away in a red Mercedes along Fargo Road towards The Packway.

The victim, who is in her 20s, sustained minor injuries to her face.

The assault is reported to have happened along Fargo Road into Lawson Road.

SUSPECT

The male suspect is described as being an Asian man in his 30's, approximately 6 foot tall, slim build and was wearing a blue puffer jacket and black jeans.

He's also described as having a trimmed beard and short black hair.

APPEAL

In a statement Wiltshire Police said;

"We understand that there were some vehicles in the area at the time whose drivers may have witnessed the incident or have dash cam footage of the suspect we'd like to speak to."
