Woman assaulted by man in Chippenham town centre
Police say it happened following some 'unwanted contact' in a pub
A woman's been assaulted by a man in Chippenham town centre, with police asking witnesses to come forward.
The victim was subjected to 'unwanted contact' by a suspect at the Rose and Crown at around 9.00pm on Saturday (11th January).
He's then alleged to have followed her into St Mary's Street and assaulted her there.
Officers investigating what happened are calling for anyone who might have seen any part of the incident to get in touch with them.
