A woman's been assaulted outside a Salisbury convenience store, with police looking for witnesses.

The victim was allegedly punched, had her phone smashed and cash stolen for her phone case at around 5.45pm on Christmas Eve (Tuesday 24th December).

It happened outside the Co-Op in Castle Road, next to a busy traffic route.

Officers are hoping people driving past might have seen what happened, or have dash cam footage from the area.
