Wildlife Hospital Summer Fayre supporting new hospital
The fayre is in Newton Tony this afternoon (Sunday 6th August)
A Summer Fayre for Wiltshire Wildlife Hospital today (Sunday 6th August) will help support its new hospital development.
The charity cares for over 4000 animals a year now and is having to expand to meet community demand.
The fayre, which takes place this afternoon between 12.00 and 4.00pm at the Recreation Memorial Hall in Newton Tony, will raise vital funding for the project to continue.
There will be a raffle and the fete will also feature a dog show and talks about the animals and birds the hospital has cared for.
Earlier this week, Amesbury Police visited the hospital and remarked on the "amazing" work being done by the charity.
The new hospital is already under construction with a new annex to the main barn nearing completion.
But further renovation of the current facilities is required and today's fayre will play a critical role in helping the charity care for animals and birds for a long time to come.
