Wiltshire village church cordoned off as police dig in graveyard

St Andrew's Church in Collingbourne Ducis has been cordoned off as part of an “archaeological investigation” by Wiltshire Police.

The force said relatives of those whose graves are nearby have been informed.

It's not yet known what the forensics investigators are searching for.

In a statement Wiltshire Police said:

"We will provide further information when appropriate."
