Wiltshire Police has reiterated the need for safe and smart driving on the roads after over 7-hundred people were caught speeding in January.

Speeding is one of the fatal five driving offences that significantly contribute to collisions causing harm on the roads.

We're told every time we go over a roads speed limit, the risk of a crash leading to serious injury or fatality increases for both ourselves and others.

In 2024, over 11,000 people were caught speeding on Wiltshire's roads.

The 707 people caught in January 2025 is more than double that of January last year.

The Police urge us to 'be safe, drive smart and watch your speed'.
