Calls made for reduced driving speeds during Easter holidays
Police caught over 1,300 people speeding last month
Police in Wiltshire are calling for drivers to curb their speeds after another 1,324 drivers were caught speeding in the county during March.
It follows February's 1,769 vehicles clocked over the limit.
Officers are making the call to reduce speeds as the Easter holidays is likely to see more cars, cyclists and pedestrians on our streets.
Speeding is one of the 'Fatal Five' offences on the road that are known to lead to crashes.
Officers say that reducing our speed gives us more time to react to hazards, especially in rural sections of the county.
It also means a collision is less likely and the damage caused by one is less severe.
