Wiltshire Police: Don't send cash in the post
There's a warning from fraud officers
Wiltshire Police's fraud protection team to 'be mindful' of sending cash in the post.
The county's specialist department say they've had a couple of cases in recent weeks where scammers have tried to get people in Wiltshire to send them money.
We're told victims are being asked by someone unknown to post cash in an envelope, to someone else they don't know.
There's a plea from police to never send money to a person without checking who they are.
They're also warning that sending cash is not very secure, and that a cheque or bank transfer is safer.
