Man appears in court following robbery of car during test drive
Callum Foster will appear before Swindon Crown Court on June 18th
A man has appeared in court charged with robbery after a car was reportedly stolen during a test drive.
Callum Foster from Queens Square appeared before Salisbury Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (May 21st), charged with robbery.
The court appearance followed an incident on Monday (May 20th), after a man allegedly stole a car whilst in the middle of the test drive.
Following a chase with police, the vehicle and those in the car were stopped and arrested on the Leigh Delemere service station just off the M4 shortly after.
Foster, aged 27, was remanded in custody after being caught and appeared before the court on Wednesday.
After this, the court referred the case to the Crown Court, with Foster now due to appear at Swindon Crown Court on June 18th.
A second man was also arrested at the scene, and has since been bailed - pending further enquiries into the incident.
