The Wiltshire Makers website was set up late last year, to give local artisans a place to showcase their products collectively, and without the pressure of having to run their own website.

They've now come together to launch a set of Valentine's gifts so we can support Wiltshire small businesses while spreading the love.

The artisans involved in Wiltshire Makers are:

  • The Magnificent Seed - rapeseed oil
  • Wessex Spirits - gin
  • Ta Moko Espresso
  • Utta Nutta - peanut butter
  • Alexander Chocolate
  • Wilding's Snacks
  • Sinceris - home fragrances and natural face, hair and body care products

They're also being joined by three new companies:

  • Sugar Wish Bakes & Cakes
  • Elm BakeAway
  • Foxglove & Freesia - bird feeders and wildflower seed gift tags

As well as individual gifts, shoppers can also get hold of Wiltshire Gift Boxes and Bags, packed with local items.

If you order from within a 15 mile radius of Salisbury, you can also arrange for your gifts to be hand delivered on Valentine's Day itself for free.

Director Claire Burden said:

"What better way to share the love this Valentine's Day than with a locally produced unique gift from Wiltshire. We are seeing lots of interest from customers who have commented that they usually do not celebrate Valentine's Day, but this year they feel they wish to have something to look forward to in the diary and a treat to celebrate it."

There's more on the gifts available from the Wiltshire Makers website.
