Wiltshire Farm Foods hit by cyber attack
The company's apologised to customers after it affected deliveries
A cyber attack at Wiltshire Farm Foods has meant they're experiencing 'severe difficulties' with their systems, impacting orders and deliveries.
The Trowbridge based company supplies frozen meals to thousands of customers across the South West.
They've said they're 'confident' that no debit or credit card details have been stolen in the cyber attack though, as they're not stored on their systems.
Wiltshire Farm Foods say they're hopeful of getting deliveries up and running again next week (from Monday 4th July).
In a statement, they've said:
"If you are expecting a delivery this week (w/c 27th June) or have other concerns, please contact your local depot. Unfortunately, as our systems are not currently working, we will be unable to make many deliveries in the next few days. We are also unable to contact customers personally as we do not have access to their telephone numbers.
"We are doing everything we can to recover from this situation as soon as possible. Where we are able to take orders, we are only offering deliveries from Monday 4th July by which time we hope to be back up and running.
"We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience this problem will cause our customers."
