A Wiltshire estate with around 905 acres of land has gone on sale for around £18 million.

The Newhouse Estate in Redlynch features a seven bedroom Grade 1 listed Jacobean mansion, alongside lawn gardens, a former walled garden, parkland, lakes and woodland.

The extensive plot of land also has a Grade 2 listed stables and courtyard which has also has 5-bedroom house and outbuildings.

Meanwhile there's a farmhouse, three cottages, two farmsteads, farmland and extensive broadleaf and coniferous woodland.

It's situated just to the west of Redlynch, around the village of Lover.

Put on the market by estate agents Strutt and Parker, it's thought to be built in the early 1600s and has a historical association to Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson.

It was designed in a Y shape to represent the three arms of the Trinity and is one of only two 'trinity' houses in Britain.

Since 1633, the estate has remained in the same family and has been used for filming, while also hosting weddings over the last 25 years.
