The latest Government advice states that leisure centres, gyms and swimming pools must close from Thursday (5th November).

Wiltshire Council's confirmed that they'll be closing their sites at Salisbury's Five Rivers, Tisbury's Nadder Centre, The Vale at Pewsey, Durrington Swimming and Fitness Centre, and Tidworth Leisure Centre.

All activities and bookings at the centres will continue as planned until Wednesday night (4th November).

That includes children's swimming lessons.

Tisbury's Nadder Centre will be among those having to close during the latest lockdown period

The authority's said they hope to reopen as soon as Government guidelines allow.

Online exercise classes will be running throughout the lockdown period, with more details to follow from Wiltshire Council once they've been arranged.

WHAT ABOUT MEMBERSHIPS?

Wiltshire Council's said that members at any of their leisure centres will have their fees waived for the expected month-long closure.

That means payments that would have been taken by direct debit on 5th November won't go ahead.
