More support for Wiltshire businesses through Covid pandemic
Wiltshire Council's hosting a webinar for companies to find out more
In the latest of their public online meetings, Wiltshire Council is aiming to give businesses in the county more information about the kinds of help available to them as the pandemic continues.
They'll have details of the grants that can be applied for, as well as some advice for companies to keep their staff safe.
The broadcast is being held on Wednesday 3rd February from 7.00pm, on Microsoft Teams.
It'll be hosted by Sam Fox, Corporate Director for Place and Environment at Wiltshire Council, and Kate Blackburn, Director of Public Health for the county.
There's also a chance for business owners to ask questions, which can be submitted by emailing communications@wiltshire.gov.uk by 5.00pm on Tuesday 2nd February.
Questions about individual cases of grant applications won't be able to discussed on the webinar.
Cllr Philip Whitehead, Leader of Wiltshire Council, said:
"We know that the Covid business grants can be confusing, so this webinar will be the perfect opportunity for people to find out which grants they may be eligible for.
"We want to give Wiltshire businesses as much support as we can during these difficult times, and don't want anyone to miss out on funding, so I would urge as many as possible to join this broadcast and to send in their questions, so we can give them the help and advice they need."
If you're not able to join the meeting live, it'll be made available on the Wiltshire Council YouTube channel afterwards.
Over the course of the pandemic so far, more than £116 million worth of grants have been given out to businesses across Wiltshire.
There's also a chance to find out more about the latest round of Additional Restrictions Grants, which have been launched this week, on the Wiltshire Council website.
